Only about one-fifth of the public want to see schools completely reopened for this year’s fall sessions.
These numbers come from a new HuffPost/YouGov survey, reports HuffPost.
Parents of K-12 students also largely say they’d prefer to keep their kids home.
However, many also say they’re stressed out and concerned.
Most cite their children’s academic performance and emotional health as the main concerns.
Across the country, schools have adopted a patchwork of approaches to deal with new school years.
Some areas will start in a matter of weeks while others are considering at-home learning for now.
