FDA Pulls Emergency Authorization For Hydroxychloroquine Unlisted Video

It's the end of the road for a COVID-19 treatment once heralded as a “game changer” by Trump.
The FDA has revoked its emergency use authorization of hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine.
This is after a review of the evidence showed both drugs are likely ineffective against the virus.
Initially, doctors were allowed to prescribe it for COVID-19 despite it not being approved for that use.
Early studies suggested the drug could affect the coronavirus’s ability to replicate.
Now that allowance has been removed and it is no longer a plan of treatment, says Gizmodo.
