Two friends who rose up from simple upbringings to becoming successful attorneys are now behind bars.
Urooj Rahman, 31, is a corporate attorney. Colinford Mattis, 32, is a human rights lawyer.
According to Newser, the pair is accused of tossing a Molotov cocktail in a police vehicle.
They joined George Floyd protests in New York City last Friday night and threw the incendiary device in an empty NYPD patrol car.
Rahman was photographed holding a Molotov cocktail in Mattis' minivan. If convicted, they face up to 20 years each.
