The last contract of the legendary helicopter MI-10k

In 2009, when I was working on the Yamal Peninsula, I witnessed one of the last flights of the legendary Mi-10K helicopter. The last Mi-10K helicopter was fulfilling its last contract to install cell towers along the pipeline under construction. Created in 1965 as a civilian modification of the MI-10 (Harke) helicopter, the mi-10K crane helicopter performed installation of high-altitude objects, often in remote areas of the Arctic. After fulfilling the contract, the helicopter MI-10K is decommissioned.
