Joe Biden had a series on embarrassing gaffes on Wednesday.
Biden was chatting with Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf.
The two discussed Delaware history.
Wolf said Delaware once fell under Pennsylvania's authority.
Biden then made a gaffe, confusing D-Day with the day Delaware declared independence.
"But we declared our independence on Dec. 7 by the way, it's not just D-Day."
In one simple statement, Biden confused Delaware independence (June 15th 1776), D-Day (June 6, 1944) and Pearl Harbor (Dec. 7, 1941).
A Biden spokesman said the candidate was referring to Delaware Day, an event celebrated on Dec. 7 since 1933.
