While she was a prosecutor she pushed for decade long sentences for drug offenders.
She jail parents when their kids missed school.
She sold herself as a cop. But, she also said the "cop" label was racists and sexist.
Her attacks on Joe Biden came off as too calculated.
Politico analysts said she just took the black vote for granted.
“Black candidates make one primary mistake: They assume that they’re going to have the black vote just because they’re black," said Johnnie Cordero, chair of the South Carolina Democratic Black Caucus.
