He's so desperate, in fact, that, he sent out a wildly inaccurate email just to get donors attention.
An email sent out on Monday night asking for donations to Castro's presidential campaign.
The subject?
"Fwd: Your flight confirmation to Los Angeles for Thursday, December 19th."
Panicked holiday travelers opened the email to see Castro, asking for donations.
The phony flight email has caused a massive backlash against Castro.
