Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was not on the bench Wednesday due to illness
CNN reports that Chief Justice John Roberts announced that Ginsburg was "indisposed due to illness".
A court spokesperson confirmed that the 86-year-old justice was home with a stomach virus.
Ginsburg leads the liberal wing on the court, which is currently outnumbered 5-4 by conservatives.
A court spokesperson said that Ginsburg would be participating in all cases heard by the court during her illness.
