Colorado will appeal 'faithless electors' circuit court ruling to SCOTUS

Colorado will ask the U.S. Supreme Court to take up its “faithless electors” case after the 10th U.S. Circuit of Appeals ruled in August that Colorado’s presidential electors do not have to follow state rules and vote for the presidential candidate who receive the most votes in the state, the attorney general and secretary of state announced Wednesday.
