A great-gran has celebrated her 100th birthday in the house she was born in and lived in ALL her life - and the whole street joined the party.

Peggy Samuels came into the world in the terraced home on August 20, 1919, and has never left, raising two children in the house.

And Peggy was delighted when dozens of her neighbours, of all ages, decked the street with bunting and balloons, and showered her with flowers, chocolate and gifts for her milestone birthday on Tuesday.

She was presented with a huge birthday cake and card, and the crowd cheered their birthday wishes as Peggy made her grand entrance from her lifelong home in Cheltenham, Glos.
