We will start off with sunshine and humidity today, but clouds will build as the day progresses with an approaching cool front. Scattered afternoon T'storms will start to develop this afternoon from the NW and a few could contain some gusty wind or a little hail. Before the storms move in, temperatures will warm into the mid- to upper-80s under southwest winds at 5 to 15 mph. Showers and T'storms will be moving through many parts of the area this evening with a few of these possibly bringing some gusty wind or a little hail. These will end as the evening progresses then we'll clear out the skies with overnight lows in the low-60s. Tuesday, mostly sunny with highs in the lower 80s. Temperatures get into the mid 80s Wednesday with another chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures then fall into the 70s for the remainder of the week. The long range outlook from the Climate Prediction Center indicates near average to cooler than average temperatures as we continue into August.
