Colorado school officials abandoned a $60 million proposal to raze and rebuild Columbine High School. The high school is the site of one of the deadliest school shootings in U.S. history. Last month, the superintendent of Jefferson County Public Schools suggested demolishing and rebuilding Columbine. After receiving community response via an online survey, he said that the plan would not go forward, says Reuters.
