Magazine withdraws 'Inappropriate, Invasive' Op-Ed On Pete Buttigieg Unlisted Video

The New Republic officially retracted an opinion essay about 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg.
Titled "My Mayor Pete Problem," the piece was withdrawn after immediate online backlash.
In an Editor's Note, The New Republic said it regretted publishing the piece, which contained "inappropriate and invasive content."
The League of Conservation Voters withdrew its participation from the magazine's upcoming presidential climate summit.
