Women's World Cup 2019 final doesn't beat previous television record Unlisted Video

More than 14 million Americans watched the U.S. women’s soccer team win the World Cup on TV. According to Reuters, 14.3 million viewers saw the U.S. beat the Netherlands 2-0. Yet the number of people watching did not beat the record for the most-watched soccer match in U.S. history. In 2015, 25.4 million Americans tuned in to watch the Women’s World Cup final between the U.S. and Japan. Yet the numbers don’t include those who watched in bars or in large outdoor screens across the U.S.
