President Donald Trump announced he was moving ahead with adding a contentious citizenship question to the 2020 U.S. census. Critics believe the citizenship question is a Republican ploy to scare immigrants into not partaking in the Census. The U.S. Constitution requires that the Census be carried out every 10 years, but Trump is seeking to delay it. The U.S. Supreme Court has already struck down the Trump administration's request to include the citizenship question.
