NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast

After some fog lifts, the sun will be coming back and the weather will be quiet today. Temps will be warm and it will be humid with highs in the mid/upper-80s. Tonight, most of the night should be quiet aside from a slight chance of a shower well south. Lows will be in the mid-60s with some patchy fog possible. The 4th will be warm and very humid with a weak frontal boundary approaching the area. This is probably going to kick off a few scattered showers and T'storms, but it won't be an all-day deal. Actually as we head into the evening, a lot of these should actually be dying off with most of the activity done by any fireworks times. Lows will be mild and muggy again with readings in the upper-60s overnight. More scattered showers and T'storms will redevelop on Friday with warm humid highs in the mid/upper-80s again. Dry , cooler & much less humid weather returns for the weekend. Those should be a beautiful couple of days.
