Business Insider reports former President Jimmy Carter called President Donald Trump an illegitimate president and said he only won the election because of Russian interference. The currently 94-year-old 39th U.S. president made the comments alongside his Vice President Walter Mondale at a human rights forum on Friday in Leesburg, Virginia. Carter said, "I think the interference, although it's not quantified, a full investigation would show that Trump didn't actually win the election in 2016.
