Squirrel on a tree gnaws nuts

Walking through the woods, I accidentally saw a squirrel sitting on a tree and nibbling a lump or nuts. When she saw me, she got scared and quickly went down the tree. Perhaps she did not think that she was being watched and decided to run away from me.
