According to a report by Reuters, on Saturday, the White House outlined a 50 billion-dollar Middle East economic plan that would create a global investment fund to boost the Palestinian and neighboring Arab state economies, in addition to funding a 5 billion-dollar transportation corridor to connect Gaza with the West Bank. The plan reportedly includes 179 infrastructure and business projects and is the product of two years of work by White House senior advisor Jared Kushner and other aides.
