Despite President Donald Trump’s focus on the opioid crisis, his administration hasn't yet reversed the tide of the deadly epidemic.

Opioid prescriptions are down from their 2012 peak, data suggests overdose deaths are slowing, and the crisis is getting far more urgency and attention.
