'My Little Pony' To Introduce Lesbian Couple Characters

Huff Post reports “My Little Pony" is adding a lesbian couple to its cast of animated characters. "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic” is set to introduce the couple on Saturday, in an episode titled “The Last Crusade." The animated horses are named Aunt Holiday and Auntie Lofty. The characters previously appeared in the 2017 book “Ponyville Mysteries: Riddle of the Rusty Horseshoe,” but this will be their first appearance on the Discovery Family series.
