During Game 6, Klay Thompson hurt his left knee during a fouled play on a breakaway layup. According to Deadspin, he appeared to be in a lot of pain and was helped off the floor. But then a Golden Warriors Assistant reminded him that if he didn’t attempt the free throws, he would be disqualified, Thompson then turned around and walked back on court and made his free throws. The team then used an intentional foul to stop the play and substitute Thompson without any penalty.
