According to a report by Reuters, on Thursday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that it was too early to draw any conclusions on attacks on oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman, citing a lack of information. Peskov reportedly said, “No one knows what is behind it." On Thursday, shipping firms said that two oil tankers were attacked in the Gulf of Oman, leaving one ablaze and both adrift, as well as driving oil prices as much as four percent higher over concerns about Middle East supplies.
