According to a report by Reuters, on Sunday, G20 finance leaders said that trade and geopolitical tensions have 'intensified,' posing a threat to improving global growth, but stopped short of calling for a resolution to the intensifying US-China trade conflict. Finance ministers and central bank governors of the G20 meeting in southern Japan reportedly repeated lukewarm support for a rules-based multilateral trading system.
