Gizmodo reports a Swedish court has ruled that Julian Assange should not be detained in absentia.
Prosecutor Eva-Marie Persson requested Assange be detained over concerns that he would be a flight risk after finishing his London prison sentence.
The Uppsala District Court disagreed but said the investigation into a rape charge against Assange will continue.
A British court last month sentenced Assange to nearly a year in prison for jumping bail.
