Mexican President says he expects 'good results' with US meeting
Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said he expects “good results” from planned talk in Washington. He hinted that Mexico could tighten migrations controls to deter President Donald Trump’s tariff threats. According to Reuters, Trump said Mexico needs to stop the flow of immigration to the U.S. Lopez Obrador said: “The main thing is to inform about what we’re already doing on the migration issue.” He said they could reinforce them if necessary as long as it doesn’t violate human rights.
