Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Republican Sen. Ted Cruz are teaming up.
Business Insider reports the two said Thursday that they are open to working together on a bill to ban former lawmakers from becoming lobbyists.
On Thursday, Ocasio-Cortez tweeted, "I don't think it should be legal at ALL to become a corporate lobbyist if you've served in Congress."
Cruz responded that he was in agreement.
