Following the sale of the dating app Grindr to the Kunlun Group last year, numerous concerns were raised about users’ privacy. The concerns were serious enough to prompt U.S. officials to get involved, resulting in Kunlun agreeing to sell the app by the middle of next year. Now an investigation has revealed that Kunlun granted its staff access to large amounts of data about users of the app.
