Washington legalizes alternative to burials: human composition Unlisted Video

Washington Gov. Jay Inslee signed a bill legalizing human composition. According to Geek.com Washington is the first state to recognize composition as an alternative to burial. Sen. Jami Pederson sponsored the bill and said people contacted him about allowing composition. He said: “[They] are very excited about the prospect of becoming a tree or having a different alternative for themselves.” Compost burials are seen as a more environmentally friendly choice than burial or cremation.
