Acting defense secretary says potential for Iranian attacks on Americans 'put on hold' Unlisted Video

According to a report by Reuters, on Tuesday, acting US Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan said that while Iran continues to threaten the region, the potential for attacks on Americans has been 'put on hold.' Shanahan reportedly said, “I think our steps were very prudent and we’ve put on hold the potential for attacks on Americans and that is what is extremely important." Reuters reports that the acting Defense Secretary added, "I’d say we’re in a period where the threat remains high and our job is to make sure that there is no miscalculation by the Iranians."
