S&P pairs banking loses with tech gains
In the morning on May 15th, the top three markets on the New York Stock Exchange were trading up about 1-percent collectively.
The Nasdaq Composite made the most gains during morning trading, adding about 50-points, and rising about seven-tenths of a percent.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 40-points, while the S&P 500 tacked on 8-points.
For the S&P, banking and financial stocks led losses for the benchmark index, but the technology and communication services sectors were trading higher, providing some gains for the marketplace.
