Facebook co-founder says Mark Zuckerberg's social network should be torn apart Unlisted Video

Chris Hughes, who co-founded Facebook with Mark Zuckerberg in a Harvard dorm room in 2004, turned on his former business partner in a blistering New York Times op-ed.

In a near-6,500-word essay for the Times, Hughes said the social network must be broken up to protect users and boost competition in the market.

Hughes wrote that the giant Cambridge Analytica data breach and election interference in 2016 made him alive to the "dangers of Facebook's monopoly."
