Detective Pikachu Star Ryan Reynolds Addresses Potential Spinoffs Without Pikachu

Detective Pikachu star Ryan Reynolds doesn’t think Pikachu needs to lead the franchise.
Reynolds told ComicBook.com he thinks the live-action Pokémon universe could branch out beyond Pikachu.
I think you’ve got to take some deep times. I also think you’ve got to zig when everyone thinks you’re going to zag.
Reynolds said Pokemon could go any which way after Detective Pikachu even if the star wasn’t present.
I’m surprised this hasn’t been developed earlier because it has such a universe and can see it going in different directions.
