According to Business Insider, Automakers face 'material and negative ramifications' over the escalating US-China trade war.
on Sunday, threatened to raise the tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods from 10% to 25%, and slap a fresh 25% tariff on another $325 billion worth of Chinese goods.
In response, China has threatened to cancel trade talks scheduled for this week, and is likely looking at ways it can retaliate, such as going after imports of US cars.
