Reuters reports Iran plans to restart part of its nuclear program in response to the U.S. withdrawal from a landmark 2015 nuclear deal.
The country's state-run IRIB news agency reported on Monday that Iran does not plan to pull itself out of the agreement.
President Hassan Rouhani plans to announce that Iran would reduce some of its “minor and general” commitments under the deal on May 8.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced the United States' pullout on May 8, 2018.
