President Donald Trump said he didn’t want former White House counsel Don McGahn to testify before Congress. According to Politico, Trump said Congress should not longer be investigating the matter. He said: “Nobody has ever done what I‘ve done. I‘ve given total transparency. It‘s never happened before like this.” He said he already let McGahn speak to special counsel Robert Mueller for 30 hours. Mueller’s report said McGahn was asked by Trump to fire the special counsel.
