According to Reuters, weak business surveys from China led equity markets into decline around the world.
On April 30th, MSCI's all-country world equity index lost four-tenths of a percent.
In Europe, the Stoxx 600 index shed two-tenths of a percent, although the euro rose slightly against the dollar.
On the day, the US dollar index lost two-tenths of a percent, while the euro gained one-tenth of a percent.
