On a global expedition, scientists made an astonishing discovery. According to Geek.com, they found roughly 200,000 types of marine viruses thriving beneath the surface. Microbes are tiny living things that make up more than half of the ocean’s biomass and most of its biodiversity. However, not much is known about the genetic information packets that replicate themselves inside other creatures, and why they lurk in oceans.
