According to Reuters, a moderate consumption of red or processed meat increases the risk of bowel cancer.
A new study from the University of Oxford's cancer epidemiology unit found a link between consuming processed meat and developing colorectal cancer.
The study found that people who ate 76 grams of processed meat a day had a 20-percent higher risk of getting bowel cancer, when compared to people who ate less than 21 grams.
