Study Shows Americans Find Recycling Confusing
According to the Huffington Post, Americans find sorting their recycling confusing. A study by the Grocery Manufacturers Association shows that 92 percent are unsure what goes in their recycling bin. Twenty-three percent of respondents said they found recycling more confusing than doing their taxes. Twenty-si x percent said recycling is more confusing than building IKEA furniture. Of the things that people throw in their recycling bins, only 9.1 percent of plastic gets recycled.
