According to Business Insider, today there are about 5.7 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s. Although researchers conducted clinical trials targeting proteins that lead to the disease, they can’t find a cure. Bill Gates, whose father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, wants to help with the use of technology. Gates thinks there needs to be a “reliable, affordable and easy-to-use” method to diagnose Alzheimer’s early.
