Kicking Off the Year of the Volunteer

The mission of the Mahone Fund is to promote opportunities for economically or academically deserving youth and promote healthy lifestyle initiatives which reduce healthcare disparities in communities of Color. In the fund's 21st year, the Reaching For Rainbows Pursuit of Excellence gala kicks off the Year of the Volunteer. Throughout the year, the Mahone Fund will honor various volunteers that have supported our efforts. Joining us to discuss the event are Ardis Mahone from the Mahone Fund, award recipients Don Gillespie and Lena Cooksey, and scholarship recipient Jada Robinson.
