HuffPost reports Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) tore into the Green New Deal on Tuesday.
He said on the Senate floor that the way to combat climate change is simple.
Namely, Americans should "fall in love” and have “more babies.”
Lee has expressed doubt before over the climate science finding that human activity is the main driver of global warming.
He bashed the Green New Deal, introduced by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) last month.
