NAACP Image Awards Pressured To Remove Jussie Smollett’s Nomination
The Wrap reports the NAACP Image Awards is being pressured to remove “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett from their list of nominees. Smollett is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. The actor was arrested earlier this month on the felony charge of filing a false police report claiming to be the victim of a hate crime.
