According to a report by Reuters, US border agents have seized approximately 1 million pounds of pork from China, over suspicions that it might contain African swine fly disease. Over the past week, federal agents reportedly seized the pork shipments in New York. Anthony L. Bucci, Public Affairs Specialist at U. S. Customs and Border Protection, reportedly said, "The seizure was in an effort to battle the spread of African swine fever.
