U.S. Says It Will Increase Sanctions To Hurt Venezuela Unlisted Video

The United States says it is prepared to impose “very significant” additional sanctions against Venezuela this week. According to Reuters, U.S. special envoy Elliott Abrams said on Tuesday that the US has plans to sanction financial institutions. On Monday, the U.S. Treasury Department imposed sanctions on Russian bank Evrofinance Mosnarbank for its role in helping Venezuelan state oil firm PDVSA avoid U.S. financial restrictions.
