A unvaccinated 6-year-old boy in Oregon spent 57 days fighting for his life after contracting tetanus. According to Business Insider, his parents are of the growing trend of American "anti-vaxxers"— adults who refuse to vaccinate their children. And although it took him more than 7 weeks to be able to walk 20 feet, his parents are still refusing to give their OK for him to have a tetanus follow-up shot--or shots for any other childhood illness such as measles, mumps, rubella, or polio.
