The 41-year-old was charged with manslaughter and attempted first-degree murder in 2016 for the shooting death of Corey Jones.
The 31-year-old musician was shot and killed in 2015 along a highway near West Palm Beach.
Jones was waiting with his drums for a tow truck because his car broke down.
