SpaceX Will Send A Crash-Test Dummy Named 'Ripley' Into Space Unlisted Video

SpaceX has permission from NASA to launch a new commercial spaceship for astronauts. According to Business Insider the rocket will send 400 pounds of cargo and a crash-test dummy into space. The company revealed the mannequin they are sending has a female body and a spacesuit. SpaceX named the dummy “Ripley” after the lead character in the “Alien” sci-fi horror film. The dummy is part of the company’s text to verify it’s safe to fly astronauts.
