According to Business Insider, esports revenue is estimated to top $1 billion during 2019.
The analyst group NewZoo recently published a report that expects esports global revenue to increase by 27-percent, which would put it over $1 billion.
Last year, esports revenue growth was driven by media rights deals, sponsorships, and advertising sales, and those revenue streams are expected to rise.
